In July 2017, Sharad Sagar made his historic visit to Raj Ghat and associated memorials. During his three-day visit, Sharad was a guest at Gandhi Smriti and Darshan Samiti Ashram on Tees January Marg in the National Capital. Housed in the Old Birla House, Gandhi Smriti is the sacred place where Mahatma Gandhi spent the last several months of his life.

Sharad Sagar paid tributes to the Father Of the Nation ahead of his address at the historic Rabindranath Tagore Hall next morning.
Sharad Sagar was also given an extensive tour of Gandhi Memorial by the staff.
As the Chief Guest, Sharad Sagar addressed thousands of youth gathered for a National Youth Parliament at this historic place. In his talk around women empowerment, politics and nation building, Sharad said, "The story of women in this country is the story of this country."
Sharad Sagar also interacted with young students from all over the country gathered at Raj Ghat.
At Raj Ghat, Sharad Sagar shared stages with leading politicians, parliamentarians, seniors ministers in the Cabinet, renowned thinkers, activists and public servants.
